Our Story

Ava Gower, the founder of Eden and Earth, is a third-year college student at Messiah University and has rooted this business in her personal health and faith journey. Throughout her freshman year of college, she began experiencing severe menstrual cramps and related symptoms that were at times debilitating, causing her to pass out. In addition to chronic cycle-related pain, she also struggled with the frequent illnesses that circulate on college campuses, gut health issues, and the physical demands of collegiate swimming. These challenges led her to seek alternatives beyond modern symptom-management approaches.She started developing herbal teas while making intentional dietary and lifestyle changes to support her health more sustainably. In doing so, she gradually began to notice significant improvements in her energy levels, immune resistence, sleep quality, and menstrual symptoms.Today, she regularly prepares herbal teas, motivated by a desire to help others care for their bodies and honor the Lord’s calling in her life. While she values and respects conventional medicine, she believes God has provided herbs as part of His creation to support natural healing, wellness, and stewardship of the body. Through her teas, she hopes to encourage others to embrace long-term health and experience God’s care in everyday life.
